In this project my group and I has to choose 10 vocabulary of Genetics. At first I thought that it will be difficult to do and I will probably have homework to do during the weekend. After talking with my group we soon started working on choosing the words. While we were choosing them we had to think ahead on the pictures we will have to find. Going on the nature walk was fun because I was able to see some of our words that I will never think there will be like a vine being a double helix. Reading some of the articles about my words was really fun. The project actually turned out pretty easy even though at first it seems like it is a lot of work. Doing the project with two other girls made it easier because we can split the words. Having the basic understanding of Genetics also made it easier but as we are filming the project I got a better understanding. I feel that the project is good and informational.

At first just looking at the project seemed pretty hard but as progress has been made it’s starting to get easier and easier. Just looking at the words and thinking of ways to take a picture of them seemed hard but after further analysis I saw most of the words easily in nature. So far everything has been a bit rushed since I do wish we had more time for things but my group has been able to handle it.

This scrapbook project was completely different from what I expected. Normally a scrapbook doesn’t require this much thought from me and I liked that it did. Doing this project put more into perspective. Although I had already been taught a lot of informations we used, I was basically forced (in a good way) to look at it deeper than I was used to. The time thing, I could deal without. It was somewhat stressful but I guess it was helpful. I’m not sure how yet but I’m sure it was.

I'm one of those people you hate because of genetics. It's the truth.
